Reporting to: DIVISIONAL MANAGER

DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES OF JOB FUNCTION:

Sell Test and Mesurement Equipment : Promote and sell Test and Measurement Equipment, including high-Levels Radio Frequency (RF) Communications Equipment and recorder solutions within a defined geographical area

Utilize Company Agencies : Effectively Utilize the Agencies held by the company to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.

Sales Support : Collaborate with the sales support group to ensure efficient and effective customer service.

Budget Preparation : Work with management to prepare the yearly budget for the designated area.

Principal Interaction : Interface with all principals when required, maintaining strong and positive Relationship.

Client Relationship Building : Build solid Relationship with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Monthly Forecast : Provide Monthly Forecast to keep management informed about sales projections.

LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY, ACCOUNTABILITY AND AUTHORITY :

Sales Accountability : Accountable for the viability and profitability of the solutions offered within the designated area.

Budget Achievement : Responsible for achieving the yearly budget at the required Gross Profit, as specified by the company

Decision-Making Authority : Have the Authority to decide on the solutions offered to clients and sign proposal documents up to the specified monetary value set by the company.

QUALIFICATION AND TRAINING REQUIRED :

Education : BTECH or National Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering (light current).

Experience : Minimum of 4 years of sales experience in Test & Measurement. Radio Frequency knowledge is advantageous.

Skills : Field sales experience, ability to work independently, self-motivated, and target-driven. Basic P.C. literacy, especially with the Microsoft suite.

Technical Skills : Proficiency in technical aspects related to Test and Measurement equipment.

Communication : Strong communication and negotiation skills

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as Group Estimating Manager ensuring successful bid outcomes by overseeing the entire bid process, engaging clients, refining bid management procedures, and leading proposal development efforts to deliver high-quality solutions. The role entails leading and coordinating multiple estimating teams across the different geographic regions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core Responsibilities:

Oversees the whole bidding process, from start to finish, ensuring team adherence to standards and meeting of all deadlines.

Leading and coordinating multiple estimating teams across the different organizational divisions and regions.

Developing and implementing standardized estimating procedures and best practices.

Reviewing and approving large cost estimates before submission to clients.

Managing relationships with key subcontractors and suppliers.

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management and Engineering.

Post-graduate qualification will be advantageous but is not mandatory.

Experience:

• NDip or BCom degree with Accounting or Financial Management NQF6+
